Thank you for your interest.

My application of the Case Study Methodology will also eventually span the patristic, medieval, and modern era. Last year I completed and tested with my students three cases:

CASE 21: THE SUFFERING SAVIOUR CLOAKED IN MEDIEVAL GARB: How Salvation Was Nailed to the Cross

CASE 24: THE BLOODY CRUSADES AND THE ORIGINS OF INDULGENCES: A New Model for the Soldier-Saint

CASE 36: THE STRUGGLE FOR PAPAL INFALLIBILITY AND THE STORM CLOUDS OF VATICAN I: The Drama of Pius IX

Still other cases are only being used in paper edition. All in all, however, I find that the Case Study Methodology trains students to examine the evidence; hence, instead of giving them ready-made conclusions, it allows them to discover [rediscover] how such conclusions were arrived at.

If I can be of any further help, let me know.
